progress

Progress has been unexpectedly slow these past couple of months. Making the transition to post-college life has been a lot harder than I anticipated.

I am currently making arrangements for a major promotional project to secure funding for the next two episodes of Fallen Angel. Getting the project funded means I can hire people to help and significantly increase the speed of production. More details to come.

In the meantime, here are some new comic pages...

  3. Hey Rob, I've been following this project on and off since the teaser was first released. Happy to see that you're still following through! Now I don't know if this is the right place to present this but I couldn't find any other way of contacting you - about two years ago I wrote and recorded a few songs while watching exclusively post-apocalyptic films. The result was a few eerie, ambient doom metal tracks (with emphasis on ambient) with layers of synthesized pads and such. Pretty much all instrumental, it's basically a film score. I don't know if that's your kind of thing but I think they would go really well with the tone of Fallen Angel. I have since pretty much abandoned the project (though I don't like admitting that to myself) but I would love picking it up again if you'd be interested in using them. Right now these tracks are just laying around collecting digital dust on my hard drive so I'm not really interested in getting paid or anything, I just want motivation to keep the project going I guess. I'd love it if you'd listen to them, I am pretty versatile so if there is even just a short segment of them that you like I could most likely make more of whatever that may be. I just want in this shit man!

Hope to hear back from you

  4. Thanks everyone!

Adam - I would definitely be interested in hearing those tracks. My email address is rclrobertson@gmail.com if you'd like to send them over.

  5. Could you set up a forum for the FA series again? I really miss the old one.

  6. If it's funding you're looking for, why not set up a Kickstarter project? I'd be happy to donate a few bucks for this awesome project, as I'm sure would many others. I've been keeping an eye on this thing for a couple of years now, checking back every once in a while to see what the status is. Glad you haven't abandoned it yet. Keep up the good work man!

  7. Decided to check in again today on your work. Good to see you're still at it. I've been keeping up on the series since you released the teaser years ago and I must say, your dedication will pay off. Keep it up and nail down some sponsors! Besides raising your profile considerably, hired help makes a huge difference.

  10. You know, these series of FA are awesome, you should continue it until the end, even if it's short.

Anyways, good series, i hope you could continue it somehow
